FAQs

How much is this tattoo going to cost?

There are many ways to tackle a tattoo idea at many price points.

If you would like a general idea of pricing it’s best to drop in during walk in hours or book a consult. We need to get together and spend the time necessary getting on the same page to really understand what you are going for and how we can do it for you before we can give you a realistic estimate of cost.

Consults

Choosing a tattoo artist and tattoo is kind of a big deal, or certainly should be. Feel free to ask any questions you’d like or book a consult (they can really help). They generally last about 15 minutes. We can cover a lot of ground during the consult and though it’s often not needed for simpler work if you have any concerns or questions at all, or are not sure where you want to go or how to go about achieving what you want, then a consult is a good idea.

Can I see my drawing?

Your drawing is often done the night before or day of your appointment and if there are any minor changes needed we will address it during your appointment. Tattooing is at it’s best when the client and artist are in sync and have trust in each other. So take some time to look into the artist work and make sure what they do is what you like and then understand that to get the best work you need to find the balance of sharing your vision while allowing the artist to express their own particular skill set in the way they best know how. If you are unsure of what you want to get, or are unsure that you and the artist are on the same page, then the thing to do is book an in person consult.

Do you tattoo minors?

It really is a case by case basis. A parent or guardian (not friend or sibling) must but there for the entire procedure. No exceptions.

Do you do cover ups?

Send a well lit clear picture of the tattoo you want covered, a close up pic as well as one that shows the whole area that it is in, as well as what you were hoping to cover it with, the more open you are to design the more likely we will be able to do it. It’s probably going to be expensive and involve multiple sittings and almost always starts with a consult.

Touch ups

I generally won’t do free nit picky touch ups. A tattoo is the most human of art forms. It is humans working on humans. Nothing is perfect and I’m not even entirely sure perfection is the real goal. Tattoos, like paintings, are never really finished and you can always make them better. I enjoy going over old work, but I rarely do it for free. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule so if you feel something really deserves a free touch up reach out (nicely) and we will figure it out. However in almost all cases you pay for the work you get!
